Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her professional debut at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd recovered from this loss to beat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by the first round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar in the 2nd round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill was able to take down McGill as she was able to stop her in the third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. For a rematch she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
